Use the BrassCraft 1/2 in. Nominal Compression Inlet x 3/8 in. O.D. Compression Outlet Multi-Turn Straight Valve in a place where the water pipe enters the room from the floor. The turn valve handle allows for you to shut off the water flow leading to the plumbing fixture and repair it without stopping water flow to the entire home. The valve controls water flow to household plumbing fixtures - faucets, toilets, dishwashers, icemakers, washing machines, etc.
